Traders Reassess Corn Positions After Flooding While Meal Surges Curiously
Higher

Even after widespread flooding in five corn states, December corn sold off
sharply at Monday's 8:30 a.m. CDT bell, but fought back to end down 1 1/2 cents
as traders reassessed their bearish views. November soybeans were up 10 1/2
cents with bullish influence from an $11.00 gain in July soybean meal, ahead of
Thursday's hog inventory report.
